Calanit Atia / President
Calanit was born and raised in Israel. After receiving a degree in Photography, she held the position of a Public Relations Officer in the Israeli Air Force. During Desert Storm she worked with the citizens of Israel in educating them on civil defense. After the Air Force, she began her professional career as the Top Sales Executive for the largest newspaper in Israel. After years of success in that field, Calanit moved to Las Vegas, Nevada, where she has been a resident for the past thirteen years, to pursue her dreams of being a part of the American Trade Show industry.
While working on her Bachelors Degree of Science with an emphasis on Trade Show and Exhibition Management from the University of Nevada Las Vegas, Calanit was involved in the Mentor Program. During this time, she also worked for various trade shows, at the Las Vegas Convention Center and the Sands Expo, in many capacities, i.e. War Room Monitor, Exhibitors Registration Manager, Pavilion Organizer, Exhibit Manager, Event Producer, Project Manager, Seminars Organizer, Exhibitor's Customer Service Manager, and Marketing & Special Event Consultant. Basically, she concentrated on knowing and understanding every aspect of conventions and trade show organization. She has also worked as a National Sales Executive for a convention services company and a design house, which gives her an even greater understanding of event organization, show management and exhibitor's needs.
Being a strong supporter of professional associations, Calanit has been a member of Professional Convention Management Association, International Association for Exposition Management, and Hotel Sales Managers Association and is an Honorary member of ETA Sigma Delta, (the Hotel Administration honor society), as well as, a member of Golden Key Society of the National Honor Society. In 1997, she was honored with the Miller Freeman Award at the IAEM Annual Meeting in Boston for her contribution to the Trade Show Industry.
A to Z, LLC was developed with the sole purpose of improving services to exhibitor and trade show management, and instilling a Win-Win atmosphere. More importantly, A to Z is a company that works together well with all entities involved in bringing a magnificent trade show to life.
